Rabbithunter 456
When in second gear and get to abot 20mph it starts to struggle a bit, only what i can describe as a "pulling and pushing" feeling. The same happens at various speeds in other gears. I changed the fuel filter, and bled it at all 4 injectors, so the pump is delivering the air filter is manky, so i wll change that tommorow. but any other suggestions? Lola 0
It does sound like some kind of fuel starvation but that's all I've got for ya, sorry. See how you go after the air filter. Have to tried googling it?, you'd be surprised what it could turn up.

gnasher16 31,123
Was quite a few years ago now...but i remember them vans mark 5 or 6 was it i cant remember suffered with air leaks around the diesel primer pump....theres a small rubber joint on it that often perishes and go,s unnoticed causing an air leak and is often mistaken for a fuel starvation issue....sounds similar to how your vans running......id almost guarentee thats the problem and if it is dont replace the whole housing just the primer pump as the rubber bit that perishes is nothing to do with the housing but they will try and flog you the whole kit Edited April 15, 2009 by gnasher16
Rabbithunter 456
problem now solved. i think I reckon the filler cap wasnt secured properly, and i replaced it today and after a while, the problem has cleared up
