RAMCAM 4
The software shows that if I zero in at 25 yards x8 mag I need -7 mildots at 100 yards, but if zeroed in x32 mag i need -7 mildots at 55 yards. Edited April 6, 2009 by RAMCAM Quote Link to post
camies 1
To err is human and as humans program computers what do you expect! the fault is due to a thing called iteration where there are too many rounding up or down of values and the program is guessing that as the magnification gets higher, so your mildot value changes. Your mildot scope is normally set for one magnification to get a true value. Varying the magnification causes errors. How i don't know but consult your scope literature and you should find that your mildot works well only at a certain mag. look this web site and you'll see what I mean. http://www.lynx.co.za/PDF/instruction-mil-dot-low.pdf Quote Link to post

Br0dy 0
I have found chairgun to be quite accurate as long as you input your data correctly Quote Link to post
andyfr1968 772
What's wrong with just getting to know what you've got? Technology's a good thing (I think), but out in the woods or whatever, you do not have the time to be playing 'what shall I adjust next'? Quote Link to post

I use the mtc viper 8-32x60 ag ir mtc-scb recticle. True mildot at 10x mag. Edited April 8, 2009 by RAMCAM Quote Link to post
