Wolly 4
i was thinking off cutting my barrel down on my gun ,would make it unbalanced and unaccurate Quote Link to post
Guest air gunner
Cheers mate but how come it is still accurate at 15yrds? i will check my mounts now though etc. Quote Link to post
Guest air gunner
How do i go about making the gun smoother? What grease how often how to polish etc any pics and diagrams would be much appreciated. Quote Link to post
Malt 379
I was told that a molybdenum based grease was the best thing to use on a spring & piston, it wont dry off like an oil based one. Quote Link to post
Guest air gunner
cheers maltenby i will get some of that. Any idea how to apply it? Quote Link to post
Guest air gunner
Anyone know how to apply the grease and overall make my gun smoother quieter and more consitant? (bsa supersport) Quote Link to post
Guest air gunner
it still kills at 15yrds just took a pigeon Edited April 1, 2009 by air gunner Quote Link to post

andyfr1968 772
Anyone know? I just genrally want a more consistant and smoother gun. Put a gas-ram in it. They cost 40 quid from a bloke on here and work a treat! Moly grease goes on your spring and guide, only a smear though. And a VERY small amount on the piston skirt. Don't let it near the compression chamber though, or it'll combust and screw up your gun. Edited April 1, 2009 by andyfr1968 Quote Link to post
Guest air gunner
I have asked about gas rams before most people give a them a good rating although some say that their gas rams have leaked etc so should i get one? also how do i get to the spring and guide? do i have to dismantle the gun? or can i just remove the stock and apply from beneath? are gas rams consitant? and are they easier to shoot than spring? I read that the AirSporter doesn't work with gas rams due to the trigger something or other. Quote Link to post
Guest air gunner
Cheers mate but i think that the supersport should be ok i have seen them advertised for the "supersport" im not sure if the supersport and air sport are the same? anyway are they reliable and more consistant than a spring?
