newbie to FAC

Hi just joined here but I am a Admin on another gun forum. Got myself a CZ .22LR and a 17HMR a couple of months ago so hopefully be picking some good tips from here.

 

First question which mod for a 17 do you reccomend

yes mate get a sak mod. Dont listed to all the posts about stating more expensive mods are better as for £30 or £35 you cant go wrong and you will never get rid off all the noise anyway

i was going to get a SAK today for 17hmr ( finally got it screw cut) the dealer is looking £45 for the silver moderator, is there a difference or should the black and silver versions both be around £35 ish , i had a quick look in mags and i havent came across a different price for the to colours.

No difference mate , got my silver sak for £30 about 4 months ago at litts of the sportsman. :clapper: If they try to charge more tell them youl go to another dealer :angry:

I've not found a decent mod for a .17HMR, I have the Sako, SAK, Sirocco, and used the DM80, Hog and Whisper...there is nothing to tell between any of them...NONE are much good, but the SAK is just as good as any..and about the cheapest!!!

 

Works very well on the .22lr with subs too!!
