i use a nightsearcher ( its really a rimmy lamp).........battery last for 2/3 sessions ( minimum 5 hrs, per session)

 

beams out to about 200m and beam is adjustable ( wide and narrow)

 

also has clip on red filter.

 

as timelord says and i agree............deben/logun are hyped up junk ...imo... and cheap chinese lamps and tesco torches are even worse.

 

i also speak from experience, tried most things and trying to save money will only frustrate you in the long run.

I have to second that view on lamps here as I fully agree with what Sean says. Just get a proper lamp and have the job done right. All these cree lights from Tescos are just no good for lamping rabbits full stop! Buy a good lamp from the start and save yourself any embarressment in the field when you go shooting with a friend using a proper lamp...

Depends what your shooting for a air rifle a clubmans plenty powerfull enough and you dont want to be lighting up two fields in front of you for a rimmy i some times find it lacking and maybe a light force would be better .
