PROBLEM i turn it on then it extracts ,picture blurry then bleeping and turns its self off with the lens still out then the E18?? appears can any one give me any advise on how to fix it, apart from the oblivious of taking it to the shop regards davy Edited March 23, 2009 by davyt63 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
Cupid Stunt 18 Posted March 23, 2009 Report Share Posted March 23, 2009 From a quick search it seems a common thing if it takes only a light knock, it isn't covered by your warranty & usually costs too much to get fixed. Kay 3,709 Posted March 23, 2009 Report Share Posted March 23, 2009 Davy try this that Rolfe posted a few weeks ago Just a short note to anybody who uses a Canon Powershot A75 digital camera (effects other types also so check) that has developed a LCD fault. Mine had pink/striped/watery effect to the picture display. Apparently it is a known fault to the CCD Imager due to faulty components and Canon will repair the fault free of charge regardless of warranty.
