whippet08 8 Posted March 21, 2009 Report Share Posted March 21, 2009 hi all , i went ferreting today with a friend on his field,as has quite a problem there ,boardering his field is another,which a chap was walking his dogs,approaching us,we realised it was my friends neighbour,he stoped to have a chat and turns out he is also a hunter of many game,we were chatting about the rabbits,and he mentioned that rabbits can carry TB,and stated when you paunch them if they have white spots on the organs,this is TB,now i always give my lurcher the liver and kidneys,now ive never fed her these white spoted organs,and have only seen it in a couple of rabbits,could any of you that know anything about this,shed some light on it as am a bit worried about feeding my dog rabbit now, Do rabbits carry TB (usually)or atall Does the white spots mean TB any help appreciated Richard Quote Link to post
ferret15 0 Posted March 21, 2009 Report Share Posted March 21, 2009 Coxidiosis not TB, type it in to the search engine there have been posts on here before normally found in younger rabbits to 3/4 grown they grow out of it don't eat the liver. but the rest of the meat is fine. Quote Link to post
