hughesey1552 0
If there are pests (rabbits, squirells, rats) living on a piece f land is the land owner legally obliged to get rid of them. For example if they are on council or coal board owned land? Cheers, Hughesey Quote Link to post

gazguildford 0
i know land owners are legally obliged to control the number of rabbits so if you got in touch with the owner coucil or whoever and informed them of this they could let you shoot and hope you keep stump or they can pay loads of money for a proper pest control programme id start ur letter as normally but just mention "as a land owner it is your leagal duty to control pests and i will do it for free" lol never know could work Quote Link to post
salukiwhippet 6
Natural England scrapped the requirement for landowners to control rabbits when they renewed the OGLs early in the year. More excellent decision making from this government James Quote Link to post

Timelord 0
Gazguilford is 100% correct in saying that land owners are legally bound to control the rabbit population although I'm not sure what else they are legally obliged to verminate Quote Link to post
