PCP CUSTOM RIFLES

Recommended Posts

I have had a look at the stealth but it was only a single shot went for the hw100t .177 instead. I do like the daystate air wolf synthetic thinking of getting it in .22, is there anything else in that price range that i would be better of with?.

If i do purchase the air wolf would you get it in .22 or .177?, don't want to regret it after spending that amount.

I'd recommend getting a Rapid mate :)

Is it heavier than a hw100t?.

The MK1 Rapid is lighter than HW100 range but the S-TYPE range will be heavier due to the 500cc buddy bottle and regulated action. My S-TYPE weighs 12.5 lb fully scoped up, but I've always liked a heavy gun and have no problems with shooting from standing to sitting positions etc.

The shot capacity of a Theoben will beat any Daystate hands down ;)

The stealth has a 500cc bottle and Is extremely light! I've got an 800cc bottle to go on mine and It's still fairly light.

Apparently the mag system Is coming out for the stealth this year but I'll beleive It when I see It.......

With the stealth the buddy bottles are basically the butt of the stock, so the weight is in the back of the rifle whereas the S-TYPE'S buddy bottle is in the front.

A stealth even with an 800cc buddy bottle still can not compete in shot capacity with a Theoben. I like the stealth but don't like the single shot part. These would be very competitive in the field if they were multi-shot and regulated properly for consistancy shot to shot. Thus you may get more shots from a single fill wether it be a 500cc or 800cc buddy bottle....

They have been promising one for ages though havn't they so I would take It with a handfull of salt. TBH neither can I but they say the prototype looks good. No doubt If It's for real the pictures will be around sooner or later.

Timelord - I'm supprised you havn't had one and tried modding It :D I'm not too botherd about multishots, When your as good as me 1 pellet Is all you need

If you take the time to get the top hat, hammer weight, spring power and preload perfect I'm sure you will have no problems In increasing efficiency. Even modify the breech for some smaller better fitting O rings for example, O ring the valve. As for regulators..... There's allready guys out there with regs on there bottles and the shot to shot consistency look good on paper :victory:

If they come out the mag system coupled with a 800cc bottle i'll be well interested.

Thanks
