Fidgety 8
"Would it help me with getting a SGc" Yes, showing you have insurance and might have read the guidance offered may help your case.
North Country Boy 0
Is it just insurance or is there other benifits to it because ma best mates joined it and i have no idea what it is BASC = BRITISH ARSOLES SNOBBY CXXNTS Typical answer from someone who probably knows F**k all about shooting. Biggest voice in the shooting in this country. Excellant Insurance. 24 hour advise line. Might not always agree with how they spend my subscription fee's but thats my problem, there certainly not the cheapest shooting organisation to be in but have the biggest voice which counts. martin 332
I have no choice if I want to continue Wildfowling Whys that SS ? Been fowling years........ BASC membership not mandatory now is it ? If I want to stay in my local club and all of the surrounding ones around here, then BASC membership is mandatory They also manage the Crown Foreshore lease agreements and so have many, many Wildfowling clubs by the balls in that way. I do like to have the insurance and the advice on tap, but I do think the organisation has gone downhill with recent additions to its committee. SS That is exactly why I will never be a member again, they are just out for £££££££££££££....I am with S.A.C.S. and,I am VERY happy with them.............Martin. bmetson 0
I'm a member mainly for the insurance and for their legal advice...as a few others have said...They also have some good stuff in the magazine sometimes, found the history of game shooting bit pretty interesting... claybusers al 9
i'm a trade member i get a few more benefits. if you shoot you should have insurance no matter who its with. in latter years i feel basc are always after money and do little. and when i needed them i got nowhere. so this year i am looking else where and as a lot of people have said snobbery comes into it they need to remember country sports is for all not just the upper classes. rant over
