trap smells ?

from time to time i take it trap/snares will get blood guts or piss on them ? does this deter other animals from going near them ? if so how do you clean them without leaving another alien smell ?

Theres no reason to get blood or guts on your traps.A bit of piss wont hurt the traps at all.

i had my Fox trap set for someone and they couldn't keep their bloody dog out, not sure if that done much good.

What happens when you head shoot a fox in a trap with the .22.Some blood is enevitable in cage traps but propper weathering sorts this out.Piss is a bonus in most predator traps as it invites a newcomer to the trap to check out the sexual age of the predescessor, a definate draw .

Good advice Foxdropper When i replied on the last post i was talking about fenns and bodygrips etc.Cant add anything to what youve just said about cages though
