Thanks. Im thinking of getting a poley jill for next season to work with my hob. He's done god so far I haven't had to dig for him

 

thats good, touch wood not done much digging this season, and id never be with out my poley jills (cagney and lacey) lol

Ar they faster than hobs then? I heard they ar.

 

yeah, depending on the size of them, plus the rabbit has a better chance of getting away from the jill and hitting a net because the jills cant hold them as well as hobs

Theres a bloody crew of you tho :D I'm going to get 1 jill kit this season then later on when its older and if its a good ferret breed from it then keep 1 jill and 1 hob from them. My friend will be getting a kit when they start coming so we will have three ferrets for next season and im looking into getting a lurcher :clapper:

all our dogs are to old now, not really looking for new ones, we are guna breed the jills again this year, weve got a couple of blood lines that go back 30 years or more!

Hi there JCR crew

see you ad another good weekend we are also from the southeast and get good numbers sometimes

not quite as good as your blokes unfortunatly they are a bit to fast on there feet for me

as i said in my last reply to one of your posts you should make a dvd for sale i for one would buy it

its a shame the ferreting season is coming to a close now but it gives us all something to look forward too

NEXT WINTER happy lamping air rifleing etc
