To some of you this may sound strange but I know some lads that find the risk of digging part of the challenge and the buzz to push the limits to dog where no one has dug before. In my teens I was a bit like this in general. Fishing for salmon out of season shoot a net out now an again lamping the one farm you were not allowed on, diigigng at the back of the farm you were not allowed on. Crazy rebellious acts of youthfull madness. Now I would not pull these crazy stunts now but not everyone grows up I thnk the fact that terrier work will be as hot as hell will only spur on alot of lads to madness.

Since the Times article and the aroused public awareness about our forums look how many new profiles have just been made,people with 3 or 4 posts all just f.ckins stinking of ANTI. The USPCA are taking all the pics of bullcrosses at there work,legal or not, to show to government to ask for permission to lift these dogs of hunters.They all ready have it to say that they are bred from illegal bulls and they will try to make out that every bullcross owner is a badgerbaiter even when they know its a lie. Make no mistake people,us hunters think were a canny lot but these antis would eat and shit you.

jesus lada just use your heads go about your business and keep it to yourselves .I think people have started to get too laid back ,some things are better off not said .The only memory you need should be in your head and not in a photobucket account where prying eyes can easily get in and access them

Any pictures I take now will never be put up anywhere, and I am only ferreting. Contemplating taking you tube vids off, but is only wee things off the dogs running around, so won't bother. I do agree about keeping all to yourself, if it's not up anywhere it can't bite you in the arse. Again though the keeping to yourself goes back to my original post, honest men are going to close ranks on newcomers, and as I said rightly so, but it doesn't make life easier for us.

 

It may lead to a situation where dog men won't talk to strangers, honest newcomers are afraid to ask or know there's no point because you won't get answers. This leading to people trying out on their own and causing more trouble through inexperience and making mistakes with dogs and fox's lives. Or even just the farmers giving vermin control over to rifle men? Sounds like another way that the hunting community will be divided and easier to chip away at.

Lads alot of people are pointing fingers here aswell ,it wasnt anyone off here that brought the majority of the heat on irish diggers we must not forget that.A few good lads off here have left the site over this i just hope no more leave aswell
