lurchergrrl 1,441
i hate people like that. ive got a 2yr old son and if that was my son the dog knocked over then im afraid not by choice but by a natural protective reaction the dog would of been kicked up the arse and the woman put on hers. some people dont deserve to keep dogs, it could of been worse and the kiddy got a bite instead then the dog would probably get destroyed due to irresponsible owners. Is that so? Are you saying you'd put me on my arse? Like to see you try it. On this particular day they came round a bend and neither myself of the dog, who was loping along, saw them coming. If I had stood there doing nothing fair enough. I recalled the dog straight away and went over to the kid - with the dog. And explained it was an accident. And my kids came over as well. And in the end the kid stroked my dog and we put it right. And if you kicked my dog up the arse for something like that you'd find my boot print on your Levi's

billy the kid 1984 1
HiIve just been to check on my horse and along side the field runs an old railway line, since I had my 2yr old son with my I walked along her and called the horse over, he as usual came galloping across the field to me, whild checking him over a woman with two loose dogs came along the line, the first dog ran straight up to my son and scared the living daylights out of him as it knocked him over. Then to add to it, the dog jumped up at my horse and bite him, luckly the horse has got two coats on but the dog did tear one of these, luckly no injury to the horse, asked the woman for her name and address and she refused bluntly where has peoples respect gone, obviously I give this woman a piece of my mind since she had no control over her dogs. should have chucked her dogs on the railway lol

gillteal 0
I always keep my dogs on leads around livestock & the alsation/grey goes on near kids as well. He's way too bouncy & a vocal dog anyway so most are terrified of him without him knocking them flying & barking at them. He hasnt got a clue when it comes to horses, cows, sheep so he goes on his lead & made to sit whilst horses come by.With regards to the rescued collie, report it to your dog warden, I dont approve of dogs been pts for no reason BUT collies are in the top 10 of dogs that bite- not savage but a biter- is a biter no matter what coat it's wearing. My first dog was a collie & I still have a soft spot for them but this one needs to be muzzled. The owners must take responsibility for their animals, they are the ones who are supposed to have brains. But your right some people have no respect for anything or anyone. Tahnks to everyones views on this, I have now been in touch with the police as this stupid woman was up there again when I went to check on the horses again this evening, and yes once again the dog was off the lead, this time she saw me and went inthe opposite direction, god help her if she hadnt, unfortunatley not been able to find out her exact address but have found out her name and the road she lives on. Thanks again for your views.

I wont ask breed of dogs .It dosent make a differance. I have said again and again. An untrained dog is a total pest.If it bit your horse on your own groud you have the right to shot it.As it is stock worrying.Next time you go to that feild take a camera.I bet you will meet her again.I hope your son if fine.atb catcher
