CZ Rimfire Rifle Owners.

Recommended Posts

On the cz website i see there are alot of different variations of the CZ 452 rifles,

Is it just about personal preference? Or is there unique features?

I would like to have mounted sights, and a SAK moderator fitted to the gun once i have it so does that narrow down the choice of guns?

Thanks In Advance,

Yep, it is all down to personal preferrence.

I've got a longer barrelled style, with is synthetic stocked and nickle plated, in .22lr.

Great wee rifles, price is going up all the time though. Dont need big expensive scopes on them. 3-9 X 40/50 with a mildot reticlue-£70-80 is plenty.

SAK mod's are fine. Some say there are better MODs, but in all honesty for value for money, there aren't.

Couple them with hollow point sub sonics.

Hi,

I have a Varmint 16", in .22LR. Scope is a Hawke 6x42 (£50), and I have a SAK moderator and Harris S bipod fitted. It also has the Brooke trigger kit fitted, which I highly recommend.

The reason I chose the Varmint version is that I originally started out as a target shooter, and I like heavy rifles, wide chunky fore ends with heavy barrels. In terms of cosmetics, I am old-fashioned, and like blued metalwork and nice wood. I am happy to accept however, that for a lot of people who take their shooting far more seriously than me, the stainless rifles with synthetic stocks make far more sense. The carry weight of my setup is not important for me, as all my grounds are compact.

Hope this helps,

Effortless.
