colliejohn 840
Has you probably know, there are a few marine stockists, who sell this lamp in this country, i use this lamp, and i purchased mine from Ely Boat Chandlers, they have their own website, you could try contacting them, to see if they could supply you with the sealed beam unit, my optronics 400,000 nightblaster, sealed unit went on my lamp the other week, and i,ve been scanning the web, trying to get a replacement, but as the lamp was made in the ,s, and that model is obsolete, it,s nigh impossible to get a replacement, lucky for me a found the 1,2 million version of the same lamp on ebay last week, and bought it for twenty pound plus postage, also try optronics website they sell the replacement units for the blue/ eye for around 17 dollars plus postage, which would probably work out around another 30 dollars, it would be cheaper for you to buy a brand new one for around 44 pound, these lamps in my opinion, are far better constructed, than any of the lamps on the market nowadays, they don,t let condensation in, and have a nice tight spot. regards collie john.
