lurchergrrl 1,441
I'm assuming a few of you on here will know a thing or two about appliance repairs. My fridge freezer is a frost free type, only a couple of years old but out of warranty. Every now and then I find a small puddle of water next to it, usually in the morning when I'm barefoot and sleepy. It seems to be running ok otherwise. Is there something I can do to fix this myself? What would cause it?
SwissTony 0
Check the back of it or if the back is sealed, remove the front grill at the bottom There may be an evaporation tray which maybe overflowing. Excess water from the defrosting process ends up there.
lurchergrrl 1,441
Thanks ST - I'll do that tomorrow. I didn't think it was serious as it doesn't leak all the time.
