what make?

Went to my gunshop today to buy some more rounds and they told me they had sold out of my usual .243 95gr BT Federal and the guy told me i should try the 95gr Accu Tip Remmington instead, i bought 20, but was wondering if anybody else had tried them and what they thought of them? i want them for Roe mainly. Thanks.

i mate i use remmi bt in my 223 and find them extemely accurate and devistating atb

I use accutips in my .243 very accurate ,but a bit naughty regarding meat damage ,but they do do the business as do Winchester silvertips ,which are unbelievably accurate but also very expensive . federal are a decent factory round I think I used to use 100gn powershok.

Remmy Accu tips are my choice for my sako always, a good round for the whole spectrum of quarry. As someone else mentioned though, they can make a mess due to the polymer tip so I would go for head shots on roe although I suppose I cannot condone this with a view to good practice! I mainly tackle fallow with mine with a head or neck shot. To sum up, they do the job!

 

Let us know what you think in comparison to the Feds.
