shepp 2,285
Has anybody tried Vitalin Active dried food? I see it has a pretty good meat content for a budget feed and at around 24% protein it is about right for my dogs activity levels. BARF snobs please don't bother with the usuall pitch, it gets boring. Please also don't jump straight in with ' I would'nt feed my dogs with that muslie shit ' when in fact it's all muslie shit but just processed into meaty looking balls so we feel like we're doing the right thing. http://www.vitalinpetfood.co.uk/crown.htm

craftycarper 0
i use the vitalin for working dogs, but i also mix in meat, sometimes tinned d/food or tins of tuna, scraps, never had a problem with it
Guest foxyjo.
I use it & Vitalin complete. Both very good. I mix mine with hot water & I do mix in tins of meat and scaps as well, for interest as much as anything else, but I have 2 dogs that struggle to keep weight on - one is young and has a high metabolism and the other is old!! ( The terrier would look fab if I fed it on dust!!) I've found it to be very good for dry or scurfy skin as well. It's quite intriguing when people offer their opinions on the "museli shit" never having used it or read the nutritional information - ignore it.
