Good composition means traditionally splitting the photo in to thirds. so that the subject does not appear down the middle..but a third of the way from the left or right. But not always. It might mean framing the subject, such as getting the subject framed in overhanging branches.. Also cropping, cutting out the uneccesary info n a photo..Your not doing bad..i'll tell you.
