Maybe not such a bad thing considering the way they workrd in later years, more about the horses than the foxes. FTB your not far wrong but that was not the huntsmans fault it was the tit that owned them. I once seen a fox cross back into a small plantation behind the hounds and the master told me not to bother about it as they cant get in with the horses. so much for pest control. Quote Link to post

" The last huntsman was the single biggest cock i have ever met. It is his fault the hunt is no longer in existence and the last dealings i had with him were when he was on my permission,he had dug a litter of cubs and left the earth open(an earth that holds cubs year in year out.
