Guest foxyjo.
out of interest what was it like for simple commands foxy joe, sit recall etc Jamie, I never did anything like that with her. It didn't seem quite right. The most I did was litter train her, which she was getting pretty good at!! They're really not like dogs, you couldn't chastise it the same. I think you would offend them too much. bearing in mind, she really didn't need me, she just thought i was her Mum and her source of food. I had another one, but that was older when it came to me and a dog, and we let him go when he was old enough - he never tamed up like this little vixen. I don't suggest anyone having them as pets by the way. They're terrible pets!! But I must admit, I was very upset when she died, but then being fond of a fox is asking to be upset. Personally, I like chasing them!! I would do the same again, and I wouldn't have hunted my own & would have done my best to protect her whatever age she reached. It's worth mentioning that my OH was a KH, and he surpeised himself on this one!!
undisputed 1,664
This was one I considered keeping but let it go again...it was about 5---6weeks old. Catcher had one as a pet many years ago
summat decent 0
Seems a few people have had em,some one brought me one couple weeks old, terriers had had it. I noticed it had a broken leg, rehydrated it rang animal santuary and they took it away. Nice to know,we may hunt but we are not monsters. Incidentally i cant honestly say i think it is right to keep em. Will dig photo out,it was a cutie,a hissing cutie. They are not pets and i should imagine most of us have killed a few,if not alot. We are still killing em in Ireland it is not banned. But i dont kill babies, there is no sport in that.
