bignoel 14 Posted February 10, 2009 Report Share Posted February 10, 2009 some of you might remember i wasnt to sure about how i would go about tradeing 1 for 1 222 for 243 well i applied and comeing on 4 weeks now got my call fao comeing thursday for a chat i finished my mentor on the 222 and wanted the 243 for fox/deer . my mate put in for the same and got no visit and license returned in 3 days all done ?. we are in same town . fao said i will need to know about placement shot on deer all be it a deer is much bigger but have the heart and lungs moved ? my mentor said he is talking 8ollocks my mentor is a lectuer on shooting at a well known college even thou i have shot 4 roe and 2 fallow with mentor on my permission with his 243 .this chap seems to be a bit harsh me thinks. anyway i am getting to where i want a 243 at last .noel Quote Link to post
Mr_Logic 5 Posted February 10, 2009 Report Share Posted February 10, 2009 Suggest you get your mentor to write a letter specifically about the deer, and make sure your FEO is copied. Shouldn't have any problems, although I would keep the 222 and have 243 as well. Quote Link to post
