Shame but shit happens and I guess something needs to controll them as nothing else will. I've quite often seen groups of upto 4-5 soaring around last summer. Nearly every night I come home theres one sitting on the fence post of my drive too :)

To be honest Buzzards are as common as Pigeons, whenever I am out I always see about 12 -14 of them, and that is in an area of 12 sq miles,so to be honest the name is common buzzard and I know why

if you were talking about sparrowhawks or red kite then I can understand .

But then again this may come down to the area of the country you are in

I don't go that way often but know where you mean.

I've been keeping buisy but not canning them. There's a few on that patch If you know where to look. Not many out In the day but there In the same spots when they are. Hardly any at night either though now. I saw 3 lads coming out of a field by the railway yesterday with riles on there backs. They then walked along the main road towards the co op  I only have to flick the lamp on and there fuzz are on to It  I was up doing a few fields by plas powis woods or whatever It's called one night a week or so ago. It's shit up there  Hardly any rabbits, no charlies and saw 1 hare!

i work on a farm up by Pen-y-cae for the last 3 years theres been between 10 to 15 buzards there and thats only on a 600acre farm ,up by worlds end theres hell of a lot you can watch them in the summer riding the thermals . was on the hay bails last summer and i seen a red kite ,thats the first ive ever seen round here

They weren't carrying anything so they either didn't bag anything or It was under there jackets, Only looked about 15 or so. I went up looking for a few longtails that way but couldn't find any. Plenty of rabbits though but that's usually the case right on the rail lines.

The field over the road from the school used to be packed along the hedge by the road but It has gone quiet round there. No suprise really..... Still a few closer to the farm where no one else seems to go. Seen many earths on your travels?
