Guest hpool_hunter
well ive managed to gain access via solicitor - it hasnt went through court , didnt get that far but through solicitor , black and white , question is could my daughters mother if she for some unknown reason stopped me again seeing her , would i have an easier time than ive had gaining access , as she would have * defaulted* on an agreement . its been 4 months since i seen my daughter , and just recently gained access and spend some great times with her , but im not preperad to lose another 4 months off her life . all best HH

chimp 299
if she goes back on the agreement go back to your brief and tell them and tell them you now want to take it to court so a judge can make the right choice regarding access. kids need dads . get the batman outfit ready matey infact that maybe just the right place for your question , try fathers for justice . good luck
lurchergrrl 1,441
No advice HPH, but I wish you all the luck with this situation. I wish more Dad's were so dedicated.
BlueCoyote 0
heart breaking stuff But i'm glad you're gaining some ground. Its amazing how four months matters in situations like this..... my husband lost contact with his youngest daughter because her mother went freakin crazy. she cost him several jobs because he was always fighting her in court instead of going to work.... then she moved to Vermont - we're in Florida - and wouldnt let him call. he had to send THEM a calling card. at one point he was out of work and couldnt afford to send the card. he missed talking to her for three months.. the one time he tried to call her himself her mom threatened to have him arrested. and at which point the ex wife's new boyfriend moved in and TOTALLY turned the child against her dad. she was only five at the time and you know how a kid's mind works. "Out of sight, out of mind" and "This guy is more fun and plays games and buys me toys" add to that her mom was telling her "If your dad REALLY loved you he would send us money and would call you" - she never once told the truth. Right now we're waiting to see if this kid - now 12 yrs old - will come back to her real father on her own, or if she's just like her mother. right now she's thoroughly turned on him and all because of money :realmad:

tel 0
well done mate i havent been able to see my little girl for 6 years i also went to a solicitor but wasnt as lucky as you mate, he told me that even if the courts told her she had to let me see her she could still just say no or make a reason up like they was going out, he also said that i could have to take my ex to court upto 6 times before they would make her let me see my little girl. im sure this aint what you wanna here, but im also sure your ex aint a c--t like mine so all the best and i hope you have a lot more good times with you little girl ATB
