Guest air gunner
I have seen many clips on you tube of "big bore air gun hunting" what bore can you get air guns at? also i thought max game an air rifle could take was rabbits not wild bore and deer this obviosly is to do with the calibre and velocity. this is american so dont get any ideas im not sure it is legal to use these guns in england even with an FAC or is it? just curiouse to what the biggest bore and velocity air guns you can buy? Please dont bring illegal things onto this post its not about what an 12fps .22 can kill but about the guns themselves. Quote Link to post
ChrisJones 7,975
For the US market Shin Sung have The Dragon Slayer. It's .50cal and will pump out around 190ft/lbs. There's pictures, and videos, on the Internet of them taking 300lbs wild boar and similar distances to what we would take rabbit. I've never even researched the possibility of having them over here. I sincerely doubt it though, unless anyone has one? If it's dropping them with head shots who's to argue whether it's right or wrong? Quote Link to post
Guest air gunner
Cheers Chris a wild bore is a beast of an animal its impressive an air powered projectile could with the right velocity and bore take down such an animal. Quote Link to post
