SEAN3513 7 Posted January 28, 2009 Report Share Posted January 28, 2009 nice piece of kit for a rim fir or similar, but for an air rfifle its a bit over the top.....!!!!!! max magnification you need for an air rifle in my opinion is 9 perhaps 12. that said i'm sure it does the job. tell us more......just how good is it???? cheers sean Quote Link to post

Guest air gunner Posted January 28, 2009 Report Share Posted January 28, 2009 What im thinking of buying a gun for that! i still cant bring my self though! £300 max humane range for 12 fps air rifles is 50yrd tops isent it still i would only stretch to 30yrds max. bet its nice though when using a centre fire the scope on that is nuts 300yrds clean view anyone. RAMCAM 4 Posted January 29, 2009 Author Report Share Posted January 29, 2009 (edited) I use one of these on the Air Wolf http://www.straightshooters.com/nikkostirl...ikks105060.html, never fails I had a look at the nikkon sterling but i do not like the built quality very much although the optics are great the same micro lux ete coating as the mtc viper, the viper also has locking rings on the turrets so if i am zeroed in at say 60 yards when i get home i can set the turrets to zero and i am back where i started zeroed in at 20 yards.
