marky r 25 Posted January 17, 2009 Report Share Posted January 17, 2009 im wanting to apply for my firearms certificate iv got a shoutgun ticket already and iv got some permissionwere the land owner will let me use that and i know ill need some referees to write me a character statement or summat. the firearms officer said first question they will ask me is what experience have i got well iv accopanied a friend when hes shot rabbits with his 22. and watch a friend take a fox with a 243 on permission how much experience do you need? i want it mainly for rabbits and foxes. iv got the land ill be able to get referees anything ellse? i know ill need experience. A Strip Club is favourite these days, always used to be Morris Dancing, if none of those appeal then perhaps you may want to think about a RIFLE CLUB!!! Provided you can demonstrate , (it helps to be older), knowledge, need, ie shooting permision for vermin, and be clean in legal terms, it should be pretty straightforward, Keep your nose clean from thereon and the rest is ....no not easy...........just ok Edited January 18, 2009 by cyclonebri1 Quote Link to post
