HOW FAR WOULD YOU GO?

just like to know how far yous guys walk your dogs each day, the reason for this is ive been sick with the dreaded flu and havint been out the last two weeks and the dogs havint been getting there normall walks witch is 3mile a day, now ive started to do 6mile road walking with them and i was wondering is this ok? or am i doing to much with them!! ( tommy.c)

Contrary to popular believe Tommy, and I know alot of people that think you can over walk a dog imo thats rubbish.

Obviously if the dogs are coming off the bench after a lenghty lay off start them back slowly but imho you will never over work a dog with walking.

i agree then break them back into lamping steady, few runs each nite then they will be match fit, two weeks off should be easy to make up.

in the winter i walk the dogs about 5 mile each day if possible plus they mooch when of lead this also with little runs here and there for a few bits, and out over the weekend working you will be suprised how fit the dogs get my mad lurcher never stops so dont worry to much they will be back to were you want them to be in no time mate.
