ellir0305 9 Posted January 10, 2009 Report Share Posted January 10, 2009 i am currently looking at getting a gun for rabbit pigeon and other vermin control on a 500 acre farm, i have already had discusion about getting a rimfire .22 and although this seemed very good i was also wondering about the pros and cons of a shotgun: - i don't know which callibre would be best or what gun - how much would a first gun be and any recomoendations (im 16 funding is sometimes an issue) - how much is ammunition and how would i get it ? - any other useful info thanks rob Quote Link to post

johndownes 0 Posted January 11, 2009 Report Share Posted January 11, 2009 I bought a over and under Baikal single trigger for £100. there so rugged I reckon you could drive a post in with it and it would still shoot straight. there really cheap second hand, I like it but I know there not every bodies cup of tea.
