I'm Steve and live on the Leicestershire / Warwickshire border, I enjoy fly fishing and I'm a member of Warwickshire Fly Fishers, I also like to get out shooting with my air rifles as often as family / work commitments allow and shoot most vermin species but I'm especially fond of rabbit as my mother cooks an excellent rabbit stew. I also have a deal in place with my local wine supplier who's partial to rabbit and I supply him with the odd rabbit for a bottle of wine in exchange We've recently acquired a new member of the family in our first dog, a gorgeous Lurcher we've christened Bronwyn. She's 3/4 Greyhound with the other 1/4 made up of Collie / Beddlington. We're hoping to have her as a working pet and a friend who already hunts very successfully with his Lurcher will be helping me to train her as soon as she's 12 months old, only four months away now and I'm looking forward to it. I'm lucky in that my girlfriend stables her horse on a 1000 acre estate and my friend is the gamekeeper, so I've got plenty of land to go at both with my rifles and my lurcher. Anyway, that's a little about me, hopefully I can make a decent contribution to the forums and look forward to getting to know a few folk. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
