Guest ferret feller
i purchased a new jill off this site before cristmas anyway i put her in the court and she was brutally attacked i mean badly if i wasnt there to grab her she would have been hurt i think.... so i issolated her in a seprate cage in the court and i got old after time the ywould be ok ... every other week i tried too socialize them... same thing happened ferrets jumped on her and tryed too rip her head off.. i put her in with the hob the otehr week... she ran about with him in hot pursuit and he grabbed her in his "hands" and started biting her head and neck i left them at it biting and squeeling for about a minuet couldnt stand the sound of it poor little jill so got her out asap... how the hell do i get them too be freinds?? The one 8,598
Some times a strange ferret is never accepted ,but your being a bit quick pulling her out in a court she will need to find her place and it will be at the bottom of the pile. can you put the hutch at ground level so the other ferrets can smell and see her ??? Guest ferret feller
it has been mate for about 2 months now if i hadnt got her out especially when the hob got her then i think she would have died and im not overreacting the smell that came out of her must have sprayed herself empty also the noise not a normal ferret squable... The one 8,598
Can you put something she can escape into to get away from the rest a bit of pipe etc so she can get a bit of breathing space Quote Link to post
Guest ferret feller
well she is alot smaller by half (one of thoses tiny lines) so yer i could but id hate too think of her crammed into a tunnel with my monster hob ripping his way in Quote Link to post
The one 8,598
It's only so she can escape from them if the going gets rough let her tell you when she wants away from them dont rush in they will settle down giving time Quote Link to post
Kay 3,709
Wil sometimes you have to admit defeat , i have had ferrets here over the years who wouldnt tollerate particular ferrets but they would get along fine with others. Is there not another ferret that may get along with her & then have 2 seperate groups Quote Link to post
Guest ferret feller
no i only have one group kay :/ i could get my mates ferrets too see if they would tollorate her? just annoying really as it would benefit booth new ferret and other ferrets Quote Link to post
