mole trapper 1,705
Bought my wife" FPO " a copy of "Good old fashioned Jams, Preserves and chutneys" by Sara Paston-Williams for a stocking filler this year, been looking through it today, what a fantastic book. Covers the making of......... Chutneys, relishes and sauces, Pickles, Flavoured sugars, salts and syrups, jams and jellies, fruit butters, cheeses, pastilles, leathers and curds, Marmalades, Mincemeats, Fruits preserved in Alcohol, Fruit and Flower drinks. Honestly, if you only buy one book this year, this one is worth choosing. Regards MT.
Fidgety 8
Thanks MT, make a nice birthday gift for "Err indoors" ............mind you, probably best if she reads and absorbs "How to boil an egg" first!
