cubby 3
i think maybe you are right we should invest in an unhooking mat or something similar but it would maybe have been better for it to be a suggestion rather than having a go like the other guy did we are all entitled to our views but some should be kept to ourselves if i was tell everyone what i think about the way they do something then i would become hated very quickly. just to add have you ever seen anyone lombasting trout fisherman for the way they return trout to the water holding them incorrectly for photos, lying them on the ground and i suggest that trout are not as hardy as pike by nature. ps anyone know where you can get a cheap unhooking mat in glasgow area Quote Link to post
cubby 3
scrap last part of last post just bought one off ebay didnt realise that you could get one for under thirty quid Quote Link to post
kingfisher 0
if you didnt want to buy one, you could always put some foam (like the stuff you use for a cot matress) inside 2 black bags then tape them up. i can see what you mean about when people get abit too opinionated though Quote Link to post

thepriest 0
I must agree with the others mate best get a unhooking mat. I wouldnt have been to impressed with seeing a pike laid on the concrete. If cash is tight you can always make one yourself. Even a old bit of foam in a bin bag is better than nowt Quote Link to post
