Got meself out today as the ferts were out of rabbit & i was sick of Xmas "hangover" so arrived at the top quarry for 8:30am,light wind & bright sky.I was alone today but i still went out with the full set up,with 1 hob & 1 jill in the box.I netted up a couple of small sets to start however drew a blank.As i made my way to the quarry bottom,a dozen+ rabbits scattered into the quarry wall & into the sets i was going to do

I ran the quickset around a 15+ holer in the quarry bottom & purse netted a 7 holer in the corner amongst a tree & boulders,bagged 1 from the 7 holer so onwards & upwards onto the quarry wall.

 

Reached the top of the bank,took 5 mins to catch my breath & i ran the qs round a tree root set which i had not netted correctly the other week which cost us a couple of rabbits placed a few purses randomly around & gave it time to settle,placed the hob in,bagged 3, lost 2 as they ran under the footline get them next time tho

 

I moved the qs further along the bank to a mass of holes in the bankside,the 2 ferts worked it for a good while but no one at home Left just after 2:30pm,happy with 4 in the bag however Sunderland getting beat off Everton 2-0 on the radio made for a longer than usual journey home

Fours a good number because looking at the diary ive had 4 lots of four mate struggling to get rabbits here
