Guest jbswildlife
just read a article in the countrymans weekly, by Simon Hart of the Countryside Alliance. two old long timers both over 70, being convicted of coarsing hare's. the RsPCA attended the dog trial and even was given tea whilst all the time gather evidence to take these well established doggy men to court. but it seams to me they are clutching at straws because to use 15 grand of taxpayers money and only recoup 4 grand from a guilty verdict indicates that the law makers are not interested in continuing with the ban. why else would the RsPCA go to the lenghts to prosecute the elderly at an expense to others, they are using what in every other case would be classed as an out rage to drag this into the public eye and drum up support to protest against a future ban lift. Well I think they will fail and have already because it is being noticed that they are not in support of animal care but would rather try bulling their way into being a association to the goverment than doing the animal charity work that they are men't to be doing. Kay 3,709
If there using these types of tactics to gain public support they must be very worried about things , i honestly think joe public has better things to think about & the only real support they have is from extremists , aggitators the likes of who dug up the body of Gladys Hammond , if thats all they have to support them Quote Link to post

There is still RSPCA staff who work largely in the background, they are interested only in real world animal welfare. They go quietly about their work rescuing animals from bad situations, and doing a good job. Sadly, the upper echelons are totally infiltrated by political type extremists who are only interested in spoiling people's legal sports. If only the "dear old ladies" who leave huge bequests to the RSPCA, could see what the money gets wasted on, I am sure a large part of their funding would dry up. I haven't given a penny since (about 10 years ago) they allegedly spent £75K on the "pile of dead dogs" shock horror photo campaign, launched at Crufts. Many folks in the dog fancy also dropped them at that time. Quote Link to post

Its no supprise they very carefully select what '' pending court cases'' they make publically known, you rarely hear about the real cruelty cases, the animal collectors who surround themselves with multi species & them neglect them But they seem to great delight in taking well looked after dogs, there as bad as the abusers & the nutters who skulk round making peoples lives a misery with the extreme activaties, Quote Link to post

This is what it said mate here Instead of a fine he issued MR.**** and Miss ***** with a conditional discharge which is judicial shorthand for a mild ticking off . and whilst the RSPCA tried to recoup THE £15.000 "sorry couldnt help myself then" of there members money they had spent in bringing the prosecution,he ordered that just £2,000 should be paid OF ALL THOSE INVOLVED IN "THIS FARCE" THE RSPCA HAS THE MOST QUESTIONS TO ANSWER SUPRISE SUPRISE Me for one will never give up my hunting no matter what its my way of life and hope to bring on my son with it one day keep on hunting gang all the best allround hunter.
