my oven is an electric one with 2 buttons dial things

1 has temp on the other numbers

heat up full power for 20 mins

put stuffing up its arse smear with the fat and put it in the tray breast down on full power for 20 mins

then turn oven down to no 7 not sure of temp for 1 1/2 hrs

drain the fat turn it onto its back and cook for 1 hr

then drain fat again and cook for a further hr but keep checking it and half an hour before smear some honey on it!

we bought a new sort of cooker, like a deep fat fryer but without the oil! dont know how it works but the turkeys, chickens, ducks, roasts etc always come out amazing. i never want to use the stupid oven again.
