xmas eve day out ferreting

went out ferreting today with my mate dan and his brother mark and my other mate andrew .... we got to the first set 60+ holer neted up and stuck 2 jills down first then after about 5 minits one in the net and then another one in the net about 3 minits after then we stuck down 2 hobs aswell and we bolted 6 and missed one of them so out of that one we got 7 . some bloke stop and was chating to us with his 2 lurcher and we gave him a rabbit to take home ...... then we moved on to this next set about 40-50 holer all 5 ferrets in this one and 4 out of this and missed about 4 aswell lol because dan and marks netting up and to slow geting to the rabbits lol only joking mate dont cry then we done a litttle 6 holr to finish off the day and bolted one out of that and did it bolt aswell went straight in the air looked well good . so in the end we got 12 rabbits not to bad day out coulder day better but guess more for next time ......got one picture of before we done the last set thats why there is only 10 rabbits in the picture lol and i forgot my wellies thats why iv got offkey trainers on anyways merry xmas every one and a happy new year and keep on the good hunting

i've got the flu which everyone seems to have for x mas but its getting better now so i should be out practicaly every while we're off school can't wait!!

yer hope ya get better mate yer i only took her out today the one i found because i new there was alot of people taking ferrets and i dident have a big enpugh box to take 3 out and i dident wanna leave one in the hutch on its own hopefully santa brings me a 3 ferret bow back box for xmas and another collar lol

Not bad going mate. i was out earlier to do a bury in the garden of one of my landowners. it was a right pig, deep, covered in brambles and only got two out but he was happy enough. Too mild here so most of the rabbits seem to be living out, dogs flushed a few when we had a walk round later but missed them all

i think it means chav. ignore him mate, obviously not got anything else to say. Like i said, you are out there doing it and he sitting at home taking the piss on the internet.

 

i dont think it matters if you wear trainers and hoody or barbour jacket and plus fours as long as you go about things the right way and have respect for your quarry.
