rabbit tourmentor 29 Posted December 8, 2008 Report Share Posted December 8, 2008 well finally are be getting myself a nice lurcher everyone else around me has had them but not me yet when it came to it i got a spanel and a lab for differnt jobs of cause but now i have decided to get me one i want to be taking rabbit mostly i like the thought of hares but i understand not all allrounders can cope with lepus as a hare dog is almost a differnt thing although i have seen they odd deer hare fox rabbit dog. i want to be taking roe and fox i need my dog to be an allrounder because i do not have that much room with the three dogs ive allready got ive been browsing the forsale section to get an idea of what cross i want i think maybe abit of bedy or some colie etc so anyway i was just wondering what kind of cross you would say for an allrounder or if you know of some pups and if you could put some pics up of your kennels as i will be needing one i havent got a huge garden with the chickens and ferrets in it but i do have some space for a kennel but not to big cheers r.t Quote Link to post

whin 463 Posted December 8, 2008 Report Share Posted December 8, 2008 ive got one hrear who would beat the rest of my dogs hands down for steadyness going to bree him to by black and tan bitch this year she is a harder type to hold back but fine now at nite you can take her no slipand work her or him as free as abird no prob , got colli crosses alrite but feching lively if not shown who is boss , you have to no how to train them mate and what lines you have and what the parents are like Quote Link to post
