elo lads

well the worry is over ,,,, last week i rescued 2 polecats and a ferret all hobs and all from a similar background parents bought their sons new "pets" and as what normally happens the kids loose interest .

anyway as i lost my fert a few weeks back (the old timer went to the great warren in the sky) and swore id never get anymore hehehe you know whats its like ... i spotted these 3 "pets " in the local paper and fancied a challenge of training them up ...

as they never been out in the field before and they'd all had a few days to settle in i decided today was the day to find out what they needed bearing in mind these guys had never been working never mind what a rabbit looked like so we left the house 07:30 and got to some easy set's by about 8ish set set was only a little 4 eye the 2nd and 3rd both 12 eye

and heres the results for their 1st time from pets to working ferts im a happy teddy

3 sets 6 bunnies

to be honest i wasnt expecting anything and at 1 stage i thought i was in for a wait as the big hob (ferret) never showed his head for a good 45 mins then i stuck 1 of the other polecats after another 10 mins he showed but still no ferret then bolt and bang this rabbit shot and it wasnt untill i got home and skinned it there was loads of damage to its back end looks like the ferret had it pinned and the other good thing i found out is these 3 work well together down the hole's

its good too know mate :) but those american ferrets in usa i seriously doupt if they could work by the looks on one site they need to have a compleatly unharming enviroment as they are hurt very easily  ooh and if its cold make sure they have coats on as they are very suseptable too cold.... it seems the more you pamper an animal the worse it gets :/
