the black and red rough haired terriers are father and son .they have been on here before but the pictures weren't great hope these have turned out a bit better.

the two smooth terriers come from a friend of mine who came up from cork for the weekend he owns the black bitch and i've had the red bitch from a pup.

we had a great couple of days to round off a good season

we dug to two the first day with mates lakey dog and shifted a litter of cubs for a local sheep farmer.he was delighted.i was sick no one likes having to shift cubs but sometimes has to be done.

next day started with thick heads having meet old friends heiniken and hennesy well you have to be socialable don't you.collected another lad and off we when to try a local wood.on straight away with the black rough dog where one bolt nicely for the lurcher.on to the next spot which was new to me on the shooting ground of the lad we collected,he bolted three foxes a few weeks ago so we where hopeful.got to the earth and what a cracker, holes every where and signs of someone home everywhere.let the little black bitch in and she was on in a flash.she was everywhere running round earth until she was steady and when we dug to her she had two backed up.

then home for sunday dinner.the first the missus has cooked in 12 months .i must have friends over more often if it means getting a sunday dinner.
