Just a question for any who have run dogs around there..... Anyone tried over or around 'the bank' (sea defence) at Banks?

I've run fields from Tarlton through to Southport over the years but never tried nearer that stretch, ran Southports north marsh coastline (very dodgy, especially for the dog!) but stopped at the cattle fields, though they looked good, as they were a little exposed (to open to the coast road). I did hear that similar ground is around the bank but never been to look?

Cheers ;)

Not as much out there in recent years mate, got a run out there a few weeks back but theres hardly owt. Never get any bother.

Keep clear of banks though theres some rum fuckers there, every time theres a power cut (which is quite often) the population booms and thats without diluting the bloodlines if you catch my drift. Good chippy though :victory:

Would this be a leek field your talking about with a stubble field next to it with some cabbages planted on it?

Not anymore, I remember about 8 or 9 years ago and there was loads of english partridge and hares round cross bank but its pretty dead there now. A few rabbits but nowt special. When the weathers rough and you pop your head over the bank lamping it makes you wonder why we do it.
