scouser3038 1
In my opinion we should be drawn the way the card reads distance should not come into it with 8 dogs left in the comp When EVERTON draw chelsea in the F.A cup, the F.A dont tell them to play liverpool because there closer??? chartpolski 28,497
I thought it was going to go "straight down the card", but was told by others that this was not the case. I haven't a clue as to how the next round will be drawn, and don't really care; as in any competition, you have to beat anyone you are drawn against to win !!Cheers. Link to post
jolong 1
how did world hunters get off last night... dont know if i missed a post or sumthing.... and world hunters doesn't drive so travelling is alot harder for him .. all the best Link to post

Your right chartpolski you do have to beat everyone to win, but theres always going to be somebody who will feels hard done to, by the arrangements. This competition has got off to a great start and I think to keep it this way we go "straight down the card" as its by far the fairest and easiest system. I also think that the travelling expenses should be shared between the two competitors if one has to travel further than the other. Scouser3038 Edited November 30, 2008 by scouser3038 Link to post
LDR 29
The way it was always planned to be was as much as possible to go down the card, the second heats down south were always gonna have the possibility of variation, depending on the results of this weekends heats run up here, as in the beginning what the majority of people wanted was the first 2 heats geographically as close as possible!!!! It looks easiest to put W.H and mark together, or it'd mean W.H having to come all the way back up here for his next heat if it went down the card!!!! So the choices you all have are this, it can be left to us to sort the matches, when my heat has ran and minions too??? Or W.H and mark will run off, and then once these last 2 results are in, the remaining names will be drawn out of a hat and paired at random??? the rest of us in are all located towards the northern end of the country!!!! This issue will be addressed for next years comp and will be clear cut as to how it goes, no ifs no buts, along with a couple of other rules that have been flagged up. For now though thats the options you can decide between for the 2nd heat matches??? Link to post
chartpolski 28,497
You're the organisor, I'll go allong with whatever you decide ! Cheers. Link to post

scouser3038 1
It would be 30 minutes longer for W.h to go back up to the north east than to go down to MB ??? As I remember it was only MB who was crabbing about the travelling part and he hasnt got to travel anywhere no matter what the outcome is. Running it any other way than down the card is only going to cause shit Link to post
LDR 29
The matches have been done and are up pinned at the top of this section!!! Everybody wants markbrick all of a sudden!!!! Link to post
Guest Rabbiteer
should be a good run,but mark thinks he met the best dog in round 1 Link to post
Paid 935
I suppose MB does have the advantage of running on familiar ground. I think I'll put my money on W.H though for this one. Link to post
thurso jack 3
could be too close to call, as long as plenty of rabbits are presant, the best dog will win, although going on the numbers taken so far in the heats the rabbits havent been there in numbers Link to post
