COMPO 54 Posted November 27, 2008 Report Share Posted November 27, 2008 Dog shoots man in freak accident Last Updated: Thursday, 27 November 2008, 00:34 GMT A hunter was shot in the bottom by his dog when it jumped into his boat and landed on his gun's trigger. Matthew Marcum was preparing to set out on an expedition in Portland, Oregan, when the accident happened. Recovering after hospital treatment Mr Marcum said he held no grudge against three-year-old Labrador, Drake, who he described as "a good dog". Guy at a clay shoot was shooting with a release trigger, ever heard of those? You pull the trigger before the clay is released and hold it, then release it when you want to fire? Well when you've pulled it, only way to disengage it is to break the gun, this chap had obviously let it slip his mind and shot someone on the next layout down, he wasn't best pleased!
