now i read that the striker is only half million candle power and blitz is one million now i dont think just by changing the heads you can up the candle power thats just by going on what i seen but thanks for all your replys people

If you're changing from a Striker housing to a Blitz housing using the same bulb then you will up the power  Not sure by how much exactly, but, the light the bulb is putting out will have an increased area of reflective material to, err, reflect off

That'd be a handheld striker ;) If the bulb in the Blitz (too lazy at the minute to check out that table) is more powerful than the Striker then you'll end up with a handheld Striker that puts out a stronger beam than the normal Striker, but that does depend entirely on if the bulb is stronger or not.

AFAIK all the handle does is hold the switch and allow the power to come to the bulb. I've the Lance, Striker and Blitz and have messed around with different combinations

The one thing I certainly wouldn't do is to put a 100W bulb into a Lance housing as that'll scorch/burn the reflector.

lent a lamp of my mate yesterday, he had a blitz and a broken striker, and he was on about buying a new striker so i said to him you can just swop the heads over. Then he asked me, well if everything is the same on the inside, the only differnce being the reflective area, then why does the battery run out quicker on the blitz. I couldnt answer him, not have much experience with the blitz and only using them with 37 ah battery, they have never ran while ive been there. Can anyone answer this, its got me puzzled.
