my dog is spot on off the lead over the field and outside my house but when i walk down the garden with the dog (the kennel is down the garden) it stops and slowly walks round the corner so i go back and hold its collor and walk it down the garden any advice on what to do to get it down the garden off the lead into the run would be great cheers

you need to associate the kennel area with good things like food or play then the dog wont mind going down there ..... do you feed the dog in the kennel ??? ... if not then start and he will love going down there ...........

Softly does it [bANNED TEXT],start dragging him down the garden by the collar or putting a boot up the arse and the dog will always be a bit distrustfull of you at kenneling time. You will have to just gently coax him with either food or a bit of fuss. When the dogs in the kennel dont just piss off give him a couple of minutes of your time fussing and chatting to him after a few goes he shouldnt be to reluctant.JMO.

make up something he likes to eat let him follow you down to the kennel put the food inside let the dog see it then take him away for a walk and when he gets back he should be gagging to go back to the kennel for his grub good luck [bANNED TEXT]

cheers for the replys but with my dogs they dont eat the food straight away eg i put the food(2 bowls for 2 dogs) in after i walk them on a night they dont touch it straight away but when i go back the next morning there will be half a bowl left so i leave it and walk them, when i go to walk them on the night there is none so i top it up again,is this a good way to feed or not? :good:

she went straight down this morning because she knew there was a peasent in the shed that my bro hit while riding his scooter lol :good:
