nice, did you use purses or just long nets?

a bit of both, as much as longnetting saves time, you still need to carry a few purse nets for the odd bolt hole outside of the longnets, plus we did a couple of 4 holers, as we were using lots of ferrets to get the rabbits panicing and bolting, you can see how easier it is to use longnets in that situation, otherwise you'd be re-fixing purse nets all day as ferrets popped up and down,

I took my old favorite VIXEN a silver jill that works well, plus BRENDA, her silver daughter from last year, and an albino hob grandson from this year, all worked great, were off in a few hours time to do a 2.5 achre plot for another new permission that I got via the NFR, this will be a proper family day, me the missus and 2 kids

Most of the buries are dotted around in the middle of orchard and when the rabbits bolt they tend to run for the hedgerows which surround, so we just run the longnets down and through the rows of trees trying to encircle all the holes and any that are missed are covered with purse nets.
