I've seen hares taken by dogs with just stumps. the dog will grow up without a tail and adapt to it's self. Quote Link to post
artic 595 Posted November 13, 2008 Report Share Posted November 13, 2008 My cousins whip x Grey had his tail bitten off at the age of 2 in a public park by one of those ugly things called "Staff's" which was off the lead and owned by someone in a council flat who didnt give a toss about his dog! Anyway you could see the difference in his running, turning, and strike abilities for a short while. He soon was catching again.
