SportingShooter 0
Have a look. Click None of them are over a Grand. I would go for a Bolt Action .22 LR Ruger if I were you. SS Quote Link to post
lgray88 4
a firend of mine has a m77 mk2 in 223 its a good rifle , i wouldnt say his one works well with the factory ammo whihc is available to us up here in shetland . but i have made him a few reloads and he can manage inch groups no probs at 100 yards i dare say this could be better if i tried experimenting with some different loads of powder and overall lengths etc, but he isnt too worried about excellent accuracy. but yes overall good rifle very strong built nice tight bolt when its closed up his one is very slack and loose when hauled out compared to my sako but still quite smooth, the synthetic stock ion his one is not the best finished i havent seen the laminate versions yet but the pictures of them look quite smart. You should be able to pick up a ruger m77 for under £600 maybe cheaper down your way but i think up here there around £570 not sure if thats with or without vat. liam Quote Link to post
