Meerihunter 7
Blowing a hoolie up here last night at last after night upon of dead still frosty nights, but typically the moons up again. Anyway the young'un and I headed out all the same, with alasdair taking Farouq and me taking Tariq. It was practically daylight at times, making the rabbits really blast into the field edge without the slightest hesitation despite our best effect to aid the dogs. After a poor start we managed to get into some rabbits, with both the dogs really pulling out all the stops in what was often horizontal rain. Tariq with his trademark all or nothing full on strikes as soon as he within range and Farouq's totally different style, controlling his rabbit boxing out from the field edge and picking his momment to strike in fine style. I would even go as far as to say I think we saw some of the best running/thinking we've seen from Farouq so far. We ended up with 12 before calling it a night, best to keep it short and sweet for the wee man attention span of a gnat,... lol. Saying was real proud of him, he was keen as anything despite the rain and difficulty in getting onto the rabbits. No video I'm afraid due to the rain. Quote Link to post

Meerihunter 7
Thanks for the comments everyone. I'm over the moon that Alasdair is taking abit more of an interest in the dogs and hunting again as he has had a spell of not really being that keen. Quote Link to post
